480 CARES INC.- Founded in 2019 by Joseph Hooks a Montgomery Village resident and known sports coach and youth advocate. 480 Cares comes from the small business 480 Club founded in 2014 that is a youth service provider that serves two school based wellness centers and out of school time programming with the Montgomery County Recreation in Montgomery County Public Schools. 480 Cares also conducts shoe drive, coat drive, mentoring and community events.480 Cares is invested in youth through sports with volunteers to provide enrichment opportunities to meet youth where they are and introduce sports and community building programming to improve their physical and social well being to be positive students in the classroom & community.
